I just wanted to introduce myself to you and tell you about a NEW TV show I have currently running. It's a trial run to see what type of response we get from our viewers. If satisfactory, we'll have a chance to pitch it to the networks for next year.
"Digital Transition" SciFi/Action, judge it for yourself. Episode 1 & 2 are now running and the next episode will start running October 17, 2009.

"There's an analog signal traveling to earth to warn us of an alien attack."
Science fiction, fantasy, horror events in the area.
I’m in the process of contacting the members of the New Jersey contingent about a number of events in the area. I am not doing a general post because most people in the group are not from New Jersey.
There are a number of events happening this month in the area which might be of interest to you.
AUTHOR SIGNING:
Writer Neil Gaiman and artist Charles Vess are signing at Books of Wonder in New York City at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 7, 2009. They are launching their new children’s book, BLUEBERRY GIRL.
CONVENTIONS:
I don’t know if you have ever attended a science fiction convention. Basically, there are two kinds. One is a celebrity/media driven event run by a for-profit corporation. It focuses on actors and the like. The other is a literary affair run by a non profit science fiction club. It focuses on writers, artists, and similar folk.
Monster Mania is a media convention focusing on horror. It will be held in Cherry Hill, New Jersey the weekend of March 13 – 15, 2009.
Lunacon is a literary science fiction / fantasy / horror convention. It will be held in Rye Brook, New York the weekend of March 20 – 22, 2009.
OTHER EVENTS:
There are lots of other science fiction / fantasy / horror events that happen each month, far too many to list here.
I am the Director of the Science Fiction Association of Bergen County. We run book discussion groups, watch movies and anime, go to conventions, discuss genre TV shows, and sponsor a Writers’ Group and other events.
You can find out more about the Association at www.sfabc.org.
Feel free to drop a line if you have questions about any of the events listed.
